Someone once said to me…

I remember those days when I’ve just lost one of my significant others. It was a sudden death but we were talking for nearly a decade.
I was having a chat with one of our common friend. He simply said “you must be looking up on the sky.” At the time, I was quite surprised by why he said so but when I think back now it was probably a common behaviour.

Remember to look up at the stars, not down at your feet.

Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe.

Stephen Hawking

When I look up, I remember good times.
When I see stars, I smile.
When I see sunrise, I feel appreciation.
When I see the blue sky, I take a deep breath and fill my body with that colour.
When I see moon, I greet and smile.
When I see raining, I walk and dance with the rain.
When I look up, I start dreaming about my life.

Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, Faith looks up.

Ralph Waldo Emerson

When I am nervous, like in a function, I will either look around to find a corner or look down to pretend I am busy. I will feel extremely uncomfortable to exist in such space. I will be really unsettled in my mind and behaviour. When I look up, I will realise that it wasn’t just me who feel uncomfortable in such space. Many times, I will have eye contact with another person who were also looking for some connection.

Where are you looking today?
What can you see when you look up?
What did you feel by looking up?
